What we do, who for, and why go through us.
You should be able to understand how we work in two minutes. Here are the essentials, plainly.
Two ways to work with us
We call you
Telecommunications service providers ask us to contact some of their customers or prospective customers. In that case, we call on behalf of that provider, and we tell you so at the start of the call.
You contact us
You ask us to compare your options. We check what is available at your address and present options from several providers we work with.
The steps, in detail
- 1
First contact
By phone or through our form. You choose when we call you back, within permitted hours.
- 2
Picture of your services
What you have, roughly what you pay, your contract end date, any cancellation fees, and what bothers you.
- 3
Checking your address
We look at which technologies and providers are available where you are.
- 4
Presenting the options
For each option: monthly price after promotion, term, installation and equipment fees, keeping your numbers.
- 5
Your decision
You choose an option, or keep your current service. No obligation.
What this means
- We are not a telecommunications service provider. The service, the bill and technical support come from the provider you choose.
- We present options from the providers we work with.
- We do not publish the list of those providers on our website. If you want to know which provider we are calling for, just ask: we will tell you.
Why go through us instead of calling your provider?
Your provider shows you its own offers. We put several providers side by side, negotiate, and take care of the rest.
Preferred rates
As partners, we have access to reserved prices and promotions that you won’t always find by calling directly.
Never more than going direct
Our service is not added to your bill: you pay the provider’s price, not a cent more.
Several providers, one call
No need to call each company, wait on hold and compare offers written each in its own way.
We handle everything
Sign-up and number transfer are taken care of during the same call. Nothing for you to do.
Questions people ask us
Are you my provider?
No. Prime Telecom is a separate company. When we call on behalf of a provider, we say so at the start of the call.
How did you get my contact information?
If we called you on behalf of a provider, that provider generally gave us your contact information. See also Did we call you?
I’m still under contract. Is it worth it?
Yes. Even under contract, we can offer you other services not covered by that contract: TV, a security system, mobile, Internet for another location, and so on.
For the service under contract, we note the end date and get back to you at the right time, if you wish. We account for cancellation fees before presenting anything.
Is switching providers risky?
The sensitive points are well known: keeping your numbers, avoiding a service interruption, checking devices connected to a line (alarm, payment terminal). We go over them with you before any decision.
Will you keep calling me?
No. If you no longer want to be called, tell us on the phone or fill out the opt-out form. Your number is added to our do-not-call list within 14 days of your request.
Let’s see what’s available at your address.
One minute to describe your current services. An advisor calls you back at the time you choose. No obligation.
